Over the past few months we have been extremely busy promoting our new European line INCEPTION® as well
as our Peerless Certified LED products using `Made in America` SEESMART® technology. The response has been
extremely positive and Peerless is becoming the frontrunner of assisting building owners, engineers and
contractors with their energy efficiency and lighting requirements. Our products will continuously be showcased
across the country and I would like to personally invite you to meet with me and our Peerless team and see for
yourself our new and exciting products and technology that we have to offer.

2010_May. Message from the President The concept of retrofitting lighting fixtures.

In this month’s issue I would like to discuss the concept of retrofitting lighting fixtures. The recent growth of the retrofitting market can be attributed to provincial hydro rebates being offered to the end user to convert their existing lighting fixtures to more energy efficient ones. The actual amount of the rebate depends on what type of retrofitting is being performed

2010_Apr. Message from the President Introducing Simply Peerless line
I recently returned from the 2010 Light&Building Show that was held in Frankfurt, Germany. Despite these difficult economic times this show attracted over 180,000 visitors and over 2,100 exhibitors. Many of the products that were showcased were prototypes of what the North American market can expect in the very near future. Since the last show two years ago, the industry has taken a giant leap forward both in the design and technology. LED was definitely the dominant factor not only in its recent advancements but also in its application use. There were also many new and exciting fixtures using T5 and T8 technology. With this inspiration we already started to work on new products that we plan to introduce to the market in the coming months.

2010_Feb. Message from the President Peerless produces linear fixtures
This past January I travelled together with two senior managers from Peerless to four provinces where we met with many renowned engineers from both the private and public sectors. These sessions were both informative and productive. We listened and learned and we have already started to work on solutions to specific requirements. I will certainly keep everyone up to date with these developments. As I said in my first monthly communiqué last December, Peerless is one of the best kept secrets and another secret is : "Peerless produces linear fixtures"

Happy New Year to everyone and welcome back! I hope that you had an enjoyable holiday and
that the New Year will be prosperous for all.
I am pleased to report that we received many positive responses after our first communiqué that
was sent out in December. This reinforced the need to inform all our supporters about what is
happening at Peerless. Our secret is finally being communicated across the country. For over
70 years, our reputation has been built on providing quality lighting fixtures for the industrial,
commercial and residential markets, one project at a time.
