We offer the widest range of ENERGY SAVING specular silver interior products and have developed the HYDRO-TECH series of fluorescent luminaires that are second to none in performance and quality.

A super reflective interior surface is used for these luminaires.

High efficiency is obtained by employing a prefinished material consisting of a silver-metalized film on a metal substrate, resulting in a 96% total hemispherical reflectance, producing up to 99% of the lamps colour rendition. A superior material designed for the lighting industry resulting in high
performance and enhanced quality of light.

Products identified with the

A selection of electronic ballasts combined with the latest lamp technology supplements the total energy efficient lighting package.

Other savings include minimum maintenance. The smooth surface has less tendency to collect dirt and dust. A 2% loss in efficiency is expected over a five year span.

The HYDRO-TECH energy efficient products are excellent choices for new installations and for refurbishing old installations with retro-fit kits, see page 66 for details.

Other than the Hydro Tech specular finish, special high performance white paint finishes to enhance the luminaire operation have been developed and are available, these include:

The “MAXIMUM REVEAL” finish, is a specially formulated high quality powder coating optimized to increase reflectivity and to improve luminaire performance.

Products identified with the

designation in this catalogue, for a small premium, can be applied to painted luminaires when higher performance is desired. It is specified by adding the designation “MR” after the catalogue number of the luminaire.

The “MAXIMUM REVEAL” special formulation, is applied in a thickness of 2.5 mils on the raw steel parts following a multi-stage chemical cleaning process and can produce paint reflectivity values in the order of 97% at specific wave lengths.

The performance of the “MAXIMUM REVEAL” treatment is especially appreciable when the Nanometric values on the electromagnetic spectrum scale are between 440 nm and 550 nm. It is most effective with the new generation of tri-phosphor fluorescent bulbs that have colour temperatures between 3500 and 41000 degrees Kelvin, and have a colour-rendering index of 85%.

The “MAXIMUM REVEAL” finish carries a 20 year limited warranty against more than a 5% depreciation of reflectivity under normal operating conditions with cleaning being done using a soft non static creating linen cloth and cleaning products that do not contain chemical detergents.

The “NINETY FOUR” finish is another special formulation of a powder paint finish that improves the general luminaire performance and is specified by adding the numbers “94” after the catalogue number of the luminaire. Please consult the factory for more details.
